General informations:

Marvenga Vineyard located in Serralunga d’Alba has always been dedicated to Nebbiolo for Barolo cultivation. Selected marc, straight after vinification, are granted to “Master distiller’s care” who proceed to distill it by a classical discontinuous method in small copper steam boiler ( Piemontese bain-marie system ). Integrity of marcs and the slow distillation give rise to a distilled ready to the rifining into 225 litre barriques. Its long persistence into wood makes flavour more tasty and enphatize both grape and vineyard place of origin, completing complexity and a suadent rich taste.

Difference is…

Grappa Marvenga is a distiller with a great complexity and structure, where ageing and vineyard are blended in a wonderfull and pleasant result. Grappa Marvenga is fully produced with marcs coming from homonymous Vineyard located in Serralunga d’Alba.
