General Information:
Dolcetto is a grape originally coming from Piedmont, in the North West Italy. Dolcetto (a little sweet) takes its name from the perfect balance between the body and the acidity. For this reason this wine is very well-known in Italy. Trivento is produced in the Trivento vineyard in Treiso d’Alba, on the right side of Tanaro river, at 450 m. above sea level. The vineyard is 14 years old, with about 4200 plants per hectare and the growing system is a Guyot traditional. The soil is mostly calcareous and clayey with natural low production per hectare.
Difference is…
Trivento is a rich, modern, elegant Dolcetto. Aged both in large oak barrel and barrique, this wine is amazing for elegance and silken harmony. Enjoy the taste of the balance!
