Monferrato - S. Agata e Molina
Sant'Agata: The Sant’Agata and Molina Vineyards in the Nizza Monferrato district are located 220 metres above sea level facing south-east and feature a soil rich in clay and limestone with a prevalence of the latter.
The Sant’Agata Vineyard, up on the higher part of the hillside, is dedicated to the cultivation of Cabernet Sauvignon while the lower and bottom parts of the hillside to Cortese. The Molina Vineyard is fully dedicated to the cultivation of Brachetto d’Aqui.
This particular area offers grapes and wines with an interesting structure, a complex and aromatic body and a pleasant acidity.
