Fornace di Cerreto: The name Fornace di Cerreto comes from an old furnace which was located on the Cerreto hillside close to the city of Nizza Monferrato. This Vineyard is located at 160 metres above sea level and features a chalky and clay-rich soil.
The Cultivation method is traditional guyot for both the old and new vines located in this wonderful land which was traditionally used to harvest Barbera. The wines that stem from this Vineyard present a natural strength and are rich in minerals and spices.
This area also features the Crosalta Vineyard dedicated to the cultivation of Freisa.
