Monferrato - Gaiana
Gaiana: Gaiana Vineyard takes its name from the ancient roman village whose name meant “land of Gajus”. This Vineyard, located in the Mombaruzzo district at 190 metres above sea level, features a traditional guyot system and is fully dedicated to the making of Barbera wine.
The peculiar microclimate of the area allows this Vineyard to produce excellent tasting wines with an intense fruity taste and a pleasant acidity. This Vineyard is also indicated for late harvest products.
The Gaiana area also features the Cugnexio and Roccajo vineyards, dedicated to the cultivation of white Moscato and Cortese wines.
