Gavi - Poggio Basco
Poggio Basco: The Poggio Basco name has a very ancient origin, testifying the presence of Arab people in the area since way back in 900 BC. This Vineyard, one of the highest of the area is located in Monterotondo right on top of the hillside.
The soil has a predominance of limestone, very rare in the area, and allows Malgrà, thanks to the influence of the Tyrrhenian Sea from the south and the Apennine Mountains from the west, to produce wines with an incredible aromatic richness and an austere but warm body.
